I'm not entirely sure where this would go because its realistic so it won't fit in the Fantasy forum
I'm going to write up the summary/blurb and type up the prologue when i get back from school

Summary
This book is all about lions, lion prides and nomads. It focuses on three lions in particular.
Bahari (Ocean) and Kimba are the sole survivors of the Barafu pride shooting, Bahari travels alone and hungry and Kimba wanders around looking for her next meal and home
Uzuri (Beauty) belongs to Moto Pride (Fire), she is a young lioness with barely any useful skills. She feels she is such a disappointment to her mother but will she overcome that
Will they all find a home, food and happiness?

Needs a title Empty Prologue

Heres the Prologue at last

Hungry so very hungry. Her small stomach grumbled like thunder. The white lioness’s skinny frame stood out a mile. She was carrying three lizards; she threw them in the air and pounced as they hit the ground. She ate up two but the third scurried away much to her surprise. She shrugged and walked on to sniff out some more
Her name was Bahari; she was one of the surviving members of the Barafu Pride. Her pride had been attacked by poachers: females; males; adults and cubs. All innocent, all gone. Bahari was just under a year old, still a cub. Not old enough to learn how to hunt. She’d been surviving on vile bitter lizards but she knew she couldn’t live on them anymore. She was a growing lioness, a zebra or gazelle would be a better meal.

A few kilometres away another white lioness was hunting successfully. She stalked towards a zebra foal. Her head down, she’d rolled in the dirt to make it easier for her to blend into the tall grasses. She was now inches away from the foal. She struck suddenly chasing after the foal dodging the nasty kicks. Suddenly it tripped. She didn’t hesitate to kill it.
She ripped into the kill gulping down huge chunks of meat. Suddenly she paused; her blue eyes widened with alarm and dragged the foal into the tall grasses. Her ears flattened as the pride lions appeared but they went straight into the hunt giving her enough time to get away with the kill. A few lions glanced in her direction but they thought nothing of it.

Uzuri frowned as she watched a sandy lioness run off with her kill but if she alerted the rest of the hunting party she’d ruin the whole hunt. She was still young, still learning. Her mother Sarabi, the most dominant lioness had given her the task of backup. If she thought one of her pride sisters needed help, then she would. She couldn’t help but feel annoyed. Sarabi had given her this job so she could observe and learn but she thought doing it was more important.
The beautiful young lioness sighed softly. She felt utterly useless, a burden to her pride. She couldn’t hunt and she couldn’t fight, it was only a matter of time before they kicked her out
She looked up when she heard her mother calling to her and realised they’d taken down a young zebra. Her ears felt hot and she realised she could have ruined the hunt just because she hadn’t been paying attention. She shook herself slightly, time to stop daydreaming. She ran to the kill and shook her head at her mother who was looking puzzled. She padded forward to take a bite then jumped back as Malkia snarled at her. She hissed and shoved the lioness out the way standing her ground. She was being tested and she wasn’t going to let them kick her out of the pride until she’d improved her hunting technique. Malkia looked surprised for a moment but she recovered quickly and pounced.
As they wrestled with each other Uzuri caught Sarabi watching them, her green eyes glowing with pride. This was a relief to see seeing as she’d done nothing but disappoint her. Time and time again she’d seen her mother gazing at her with sad green eyes. Poor Sarabi, her firstborn had caused her great disappointment she was thinking her next litter would turn out the same, which would come very soon looking at her swollen belly
